Intro To Ayurveda & Yoga Workshop

Ayurveda - The Science of Life.
Veda means ‘knowledge’. Ayur means ‘life’. Ayurveda’s approach is initially preventative rather than curative. It shows a person how to live in harmony with one’s own nature, as well as the natural cycles of the day, the seasons and life. As the science of Ayurveda and Yoga sprang from the same fountain, they compliment each other.
During the workshop you will learn what Ayurveda is, you will take a self-assessment "Prakriti" questionnaire to find out and understand what your dominant dosha is and how it will help you to know what practices work best for you.
We will then move into our practice, which will include meditation, breath work, a vinyasa flow practice to regulate our doshas and a long relaxation to end. There will be time before we leave for any questions and tips on how to create your ideal practice.
The workshop will include:
+ Welcome herbal tea
+ Intro to Ayurveda and self-assessment "Prakriti" questionnaire
+ Meditation and pranayama techniques
+ Vinyasa flow yoga practice
+ How to design your ideal practice, plus final Q&A
Lean into 2024 with the ability and knowledge of what to do in order to bring yourself back to your own unique equilibrium.
