There are two sides to every story, especially when it comes to light. The sun, all swirling energy, warmth and glow; and the moon, with its cool radiance, luminescence and tranquility. Some days, we’re in need of that sun spirit – warmth and brightness flooding our faces, all hot and fiery. Other times, we’re more like the moon – calm, peacefulness and introspection through stillness.
And if you bumped into Sunshine’s founder Ella, you’d be met with both. Having lived in various places around the world (chasing the sunshine, because why not?), she’s always returned back to Cornwall. Her vision? To create a space that brings yoga and food together. Where community is at its heart.
A space for people to gather, stretch, work, eat, laugh and heal. Step into Sunshine and you’ll find the sun and the moon. A bit of heat in a flow class, and grounding coolness in meditation or yin. Where you can sit solo but also find friends. A space to work, plan and read, or share a bowl of something delicious with someone you met in class. Our studio and cafe taps into both. You can’t have the sun without the moon; just like you can’t have energy without rest.
